For the past twelve years , my goal has been for the Lituanica to complete the heroic odyssey of Darius and Girenas. Unfortunately, due to events over the last couple of years, the project had come to a complete halt. My attempt to have the original Lituanica finish its flight in time for the 75th anniversary had to be abandoned  due to lack of funds. However, the project continues. The aircraft is being restored and the "Flight of Completion" will take place, hopefully, no later than the 80th anniversary. We have been fortunate to solicit the help of the Port Townsend Aero Museum in the restoration project. They have expertise in these type of restoration projects and I look forward to showing progress shortly.

I wish to thank all those who have helped and stood by this project, even in its darkest days. More information regarding the Lituanica Foundation will be forthcoming, as we try to raise funds for the project.
